To create a balanced and supportive community, The Village introduces a rotational childcare system where parents can take turns caring for the children. This system allows each parent to spend dedicated time nurturing the kids and then focusing on their work. This approach ensures that all parents get ample time for their professional ambitions while also contributing to the childcare needs of the community.

How It Works

Flexible Scheduling

• Sign-Up System: Each week, parents select their preferred childcare shifts.
• Structured Time Slots: The day is divided into 2-hour childcare shifts and 3-hour co-working periods, creating a balanced routine.
  • 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Childcare
  • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Co-Working
  • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Childcare
  • 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Co-Working

Childcare Responsibilities

• Parents actively engage children through storytelling, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and other nurturing activities.
• A holistic care approach ensures children receive emotional, social, and educational support.

Dedicated Co-Working Space

• Enjoy uninterrupted work time in a quiet, well-equipped space with high-speed internet and meeting areas.
• Designed for productivity and focus, giving parents peace of mind while their children are cared for.

Rotation & Flexibility

• Parents contribute at least one childcare shift per day, ensuring fairness and balance.
• Shift swaps are allowed, offering flexibility and mutual support within the community.

Seamless Coordination

• A Shift Coordinator manages the schedule and ensures smooth transitions.
• A digital platform (app or online portal) allows parents to check schedules, make adjustments, and communicate.

Community Support & Resources

• Backup Care: Reliable caregivers or volunteers step in when needed.
